Leading Ayawa in a prayer to accept Christ.

Howdy folks,

Happy March to you all! Thank you so very much for your prayers and messages. You are a blessing! As you can see, I’ve decided it’s time for a “highly official” update (Actually, I've been really busy. Sorry for the lack of organization).

Kimberly and I are waiting on a shipment of products to arrive in order to have our next Pad Project. Those should be here in a few weeks. Additionally, Pastor

Here, Georges is taking his turn at "Sleeping Man." It's basically Hangman, I just changed the specifics because the former seemed a little dark to introduce here :/

Denis is very encouraged by the progress that my

English students are making—so much that their families have asked if they can attend (Unfortunately, that is not allowed)! The students are now able to pick up an American English accent in addition to British English, and they are using a bit of English with each other in their free time.

Speaking of those students, I've submitted the grant request to Send Relief so that 60 orphans may attend the Christian-based school for another year. It's passed the first stages of approval—prayers would be appreciated for the final stages.

On Tuesday afternoons, I’ve been walking around our city neighborhood to evangelize with Aidan, my Africa Escort (meaning: security detail/designated brother). The women here are generally very open to gospel conversations and seem to want to understand the message (One woman recently stood us up for a second meeting, but that’s not normative). The fact that salvation is a free gift and brings eternal security can be hard for them to grasp at first, since they often come from Muslim, animistic, or other works-based backgrounds. However, I share with them a few verses and they seem to get it.

Weeks ago, Aidan, Mr. Samuel, and I paid several visits to a young lady named Ayawa. Finally, after understanding that the bad choices in her past are nothing in light of God’s grace and saving power, she trusted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Now Mr. Samuel and I visit the fruit stand where she works and give her a discipleship class every Wednesday. The biggest hindrance is that she doesn’t speak much French and she can’t read, but by God’s grace we believe she is learning more and more about the faith.

As far as plans go, at the end of this month I should be traveling for evangelism with a missionary friend named Jane. Prayerfully, during this trip I'll be permitted to share about the meaning of Easter on a local radio show.

Kimberly and I are also working on a health/evangelistic itinerary to carry out this Summer with our nursing friend, Dr. Kristen. We had a similar program with her last year that was very fruitful in regards to healthcare improvement and sharing Christ. This time, she will likely give four classes on how to resuscitate newborns after birth. This is exciting for all of us!

I’m still assisting with the Holistic Ministry Team meetings and having the Bible study with my 15-year-old friend, Christianna, as well. The Lord continues to bless these gatherings.

Thank you all for joining me in this mission in various ways from across the pond. I value you so much. So does our Lord. Feel free to reach out, and have a beautiful week!

We enjoyed a fun, local-music event with some friends last week. Here, Aidan is learning the West African xylophone.

Christianna and I tried our hands at baking a coffee-nutella cake. She decorated it so nicely!
